Botek Flavored THC Syrup
BOTEK - THE NEW SCHOOL OF SYRUP
If you’ve never had syrup before, we’re glad you’re here. We are Botek™, your trusted source for quality, cannabis-infused syrups.
Every bottle starts with pure, CO2-extracted, medical cannabis, grown right here in California. We never use cannabis by-products. Simply because you deserve better. From start to finish, we lab test everything, by batch, at multiple checkpoints throughout the production process.
As patients, we tried the tinctures, sampled the sublinguals and enjoyed the elixirs. Botek combines the best of the traditional with a fruity-fresh dose of deliciousness into a syrup we’re proud of.
Botek™ is one of the newest brands under the award-winning Day Dreamers Collective. Today, Day Dreamers’ chocolates have won close to a dozen awards. We at Botek can only hope to shine as brightly one day.
Being a fully vertical organization ensures full control of both raw material and processes. Keeping production internal from “soil to foil” ensures things at Botek are always traceable. Making medicine comes with responsibility. At Botek, we understand the importance of accuracy and consistency because we too are patients, just like you.
Q: What is Botek?
Botek is a fruit-flavored, cannabis infused syrup, which falls under the category of edibles. Short for “marijuana edible” or “cannabis edible”, edibles are cannabis-containing items of food fit to be eaten. In accordance with current California state laws, Botek is a medical marijuana product.
Although we call Botek a syrup, it can also be defined as a tincture, elixir and/or sublingual.
Q: Why would I take Botek?
One would take Botek for the same reasons one would consume medical cannabis. Please consult your physician to determine whether medical cannabis is suitable for you.
Q: How do I take Botek?
You can consume Botek in the following ways:
- By the spoonful, directly from the bottle.
- Mixed into a cold beverage. (We recommend juice or a carbonated drink for best flavor!)
- Mixed into a hot beverage like tea.
- Drizzled over yoghurt, shaved ice, ice cream or any other creative way you would enjoy a sweet, fruity treat.
Just remember to stir well! It’s thick!
Q: Is it ok to drink straight from the container?
Your mother might not approve, but go ahead, we won’t tell.
Q: How do I figure out the best dose for me?
Carefully read all instructions on the label of the bottle before administering Botek.
First time users should take the smallest recommended dose of one (1) serving (15 mL or 1 tablespoon.) Wait 5-30 minutes to feel effects.
Wait a full two (2) hours before administering an additional dose as absorption of THC is slower when ingested. Do not ingest multiple servings before effects are experienced and wait until effects subside before ingesting further servings.
Only take this product as needed. Only use the lowest effective dose consistent with individual patient treatment goals. Only after observing the initial response, adjust the dose to suit your individual patient’s needs. Botek may be taken without regard to timing of meals.
Q: How much Botek is safe to drink? Is there a limit per day?
Cannabis and cannabis-containing products affect each individual differently. Currently, there are no laws, regulations, guidelines or recommendations from the State of California regarding limits on THC.
According to the CDC, “Consuming a large dose of THC can result in a higher THC concentration, greater intoxication, and an increased risk for adverse psychological effects.” Consult your physician and use best judgement when using cannabis.
Q: What are the effects of Botek?
As a THC-containing cannabis product, individuals will feel a psychoactive “high” after consuming Botek. Intoxication and psychological effects are amplified as THC consumption increases.
Q: I just drank Botek. Why don’t I feel anything? What should I do?
Typically, it takes 5-30 minutes (or more) for a patient to begin feeling effects. Psychoactivity in edibles is linked to rates of digestion and absorption, so this differs from person to person. Allow a full two (2) hours to elapse before consuming a second serving. Dose conservatively. Botek can be strong.
Q: Why is Botek so thick?
Botek is a true syrup. Treat its consistency the way you would of honey In beverages, stir well to avoid settling.
To keep the formulation potent, we chose not to water Botek down. As with any medication, you should be taking the lowest effect dose for maximum results, not vice versa.
Lastly, because Botek is also a sublingual, a viscous syrup ensures the your tongue is well-coated for maximum delivery.
Q: Tell me everything about the cannabis oil in Botek.
At Botek, our philosophy is simple: “put good in, get good out.”
Each bottle starts with flowers; beautifully grown and primed to perfection by our team of seasoned cultivators.
Then our cannabis extract (or ‘oil’) is obtained by using Waters’ Supercritical Fluid Extraction (SFE) System with supercritical carbon dioxide as the solvent.
Our operations are completely vertical. We do not use “food grade” by-products from other organic processes and we do not obtain materials from any third parties.
We are always in control of what we produce — “from soil to foil.”
Q: What flavors do Botek come in?
Grape Ape is grape flavored. Lemon Lime is self-explanatory (but it tastes like candy!) Orange Sherbet is akin to an orange creamsicle — bright on the palate with a vanilla finish. And Watermelon is as sweet as watermelon can be. Check our products page periodically for new flavors!
Q: What is the difference between AM and PM?
Any product labeled AM contains sativa-dominant cannabis while PMs are indica-dominant. An AM product is generally recommended for daytime consumption. PMs are recommended at night or at rest.
Q: Is there just one size of Botek or many?
Bottles of Botek are available in two (2) sizes:
- 2 fl. oz. (59 mL)
- 4 fl. oz. (118 mL)
Q: What are the ingredients in Botek?
Organic Sugar Alcohol, Organic Sugar, Water, Citric Acid, Artificial Flavoring, Δ9 THC 200 mg, CBD <5 mg, CBN <5 mg.
Q: What is sugar alcohol?
A sugar alcohol is a natural, organic compound. Sugar alcohols come from plant products such as fruits and berries. Contrary to its name, it is neither an alcoholic beverage nor a sugar. In terms of food science, it has a lower caloric content than sugars, is generally less sweet and does not contribute to tooth decay. In moderation, sugar alcohols are suitable for diabetics.
Q: What does “Δ9 THC”, “CBD” and “CBN” on the label mean?
Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), or more precisely its main isomer (−)-trans-Δ9-tetrahydrocannabinol ( (6aR,10aR)-delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol), is the principal psychoactive constituent (or cannabinol) of cannabis.
Cannabidiol (CBD) is one of at least 85 active cannabinoids identified in cannabis. It is a major phytocannabinoid, accounting for up to 40% of the plant’s extract. CBD is considered to have a wider scope of potential medical applications than THC.
Cannabinol (CBN) is a weak psychoactive cannabinoid found only in trace amounts in Cannabis sativa and Cannabis indica. It is mostly a metabolite of THC. CBN acts as a weak agonist of CB1 receptors, but has a higher affinity to CB2 receptors, with lower affinities in comparison to THC. Cannabinol has been shown to have analgesic properties.
Q: I’m vegan and would like to know if animal/insect-based ingredients are used in Botek.
Botek is 100% vegan. This has been a verified for all ingredients, down to trace ingredients in our coloring. Our red food coloring for example is not carmine derived from the female cochineal insect. We love animals as much as we love our vegetables here at Botek. Crushed beetles don’t deserve to be in our bottles.
Q: How long is Botek good after the seal is broken? Do I need to refrigerate Botek?
Use within one (1) month after opening. Sealed and unopened, Botek syrups are extremely shelf-stable at room temperature (21C or 70F). Shelf life is two (2) years from the date of production. Botek does not need to be refrigerated. Store at room temp.

No, Botek does not contain caffeine.

Q: Can I mix Botek with alcohol?
We don’t recommend it but consult your physician before mixing any cannabis product(s) with alcohol.
Q: Syrups and diabetics, what’s the deal?
The majority of cannabis syrups on the market are made with processed agave syrup or high fructose corn syrup. Botek contains organic sugar alcohol and organic sugar as its first two ingredients. If you are diabetic or have issues with insulin, consult your physician before consuming any syrup.
Q: Is it ok to leave my bottle of Botek in the car?
As long as your car is at room temperature (21C or 70F) and so long as you keep Botek out of reach of children and animals, we don’t see why not. Just don’t drink and drive!
Q: Can I take Botek on an airplane?
Some airports in California are respectful of patients’ rights while others are not. If TSA security screeners find marijuana in your luggage, the standard procedure is to turn you over to local law enforcement. Medical cannabis in California cannot legally be taken out of California. It is federally illegal to carry any cannabis infused products across state lines.
